I used to like Honest-1 Auto Care Middlesex and went there for a while with no issues. I "always" brought my own parts, and it was never a problem. I called on Dec 8 to book a thermostat replacement and again reminded them I’d be bringing my parts. They said it was fine and gave me an appointment. When I arrived, the new receptionist (I believe his name is Mike) was shockingly rude and disrespectful from the start. He immediately told me they don’t accept customer supplied parts, completely contradicting what I was told on the phone and my history with them. I also noticed other recent reviews complaining about the same person, and now I understand why. I went through with it anyway because I didn’t want to wait weeks elsewhere. The thermostat seems fine, but later that night on the highway my front deflector and engine splash shield came loose and broke because the underbody panels weren’t secured properly. That’s basic work, and it’s unacceptable, especially at dealership level pricing. Between the attitude and the careless reassembly, I won’t be back.

Ive used Honest1 for many years for all my family cars. A shop that you can trust for your maintenance needs.

Treated with respect. Even though my car problem ended up being some thing very obvious Only charged me for 1/2 hour of diagnostic. Brought car in in morning without appointment and car was done by noon. Long story short you have a future customer.

I had a great experience with Honest 1 Auto Care. After realizing that I likely had a brake fluid leak and my pedal was going to the floor of my car, I called this shop and asked if they’d be able to help me in a pinch. I dropped off the car and was told that it would likely be checked the next day, which I realistically had expected. The next day they let me know I needed a new brake line and communicated what options I had. The day after that, my car was ready and my brakes were in working condition again and still are. Super appreciative for the honesty and communication from this shop, would definitely recommend to anyone I know.
