I was looking for a good and honest mechanic to bring a vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection and I am so glad I found this shop. I dealt with Kevin and Dan. These guys are a pleasure to work with. They inspected the vehicle very thoroughly. They explained and SHOWED me every component that needed to be fixed. They even told me that the sticker price was way too high and gave me a fair estimate of what the vehicle is worth in its current condition. I didn't go through with the purchase of the vehicle. I felt that there was way too many red flags. Dan also noticed that the radiator is hanging low, cap is new and coolant is overfilled. Minor details that most people would not notice. He said that could be a sign of overheating problems. Which I completely agree. Because when I was driving the vehicle back to the dealership, I felt a lot of heat coming from the firewall. That was one of the MANY deal breakers for me. These guys really deserve the word "Honest" in their name. They saved me thousands of dollars. To top it all off, they only charged me half compared to what other mechanics are asking for a pre-purchase inspection. Half price, honest, thorough work, easy to talk to, what more could you ask for a mechanic? Or any business for that matter? Money well spent. BTW, Kevin was breaking my balls for driving all the way from Philly to North Jersey just to buy a used vehicle. He said all the cars in Philly are stolen. Haha.. I think I forgot to mention that I was looking for that specific year and model. I basically made buying a used vehicle difficult for myself by narrowing my options down to a very specific year and model. That's why I was willing to drive for 2 hours just to buy a used vehicle. But it's all good. Kevin was funny and very helpful. They made the 2 hour trip worth it. Now I found a mechanic I can trust in this neighborhood. Thanks to Kevin and Dan.
